elementary school memory

My best memory of elementary school is school trip. We went to Nagasaki to learn about World War Ⅱ and atomic bomb. We saw pictures of the damage by the atomic bomb at history center. It was really shocked. And we visited the memorial statue. People built it and wished the peace last forever. We sang a song, pray for peace and presented a string of 1000 paper cranes. I remember it was hot day. So many people were killed by the bomb in Nagasaki 60 years ago. We learned sad history but it is very important.
After this study, we enjoyed sightseeing. We went to Huis Ten Bosch. It was fun and I had nice time with my friend.
