BR12:A SNAKE MISTAKE

Farmer Henry put Jake down and started back toward the house. But he soon turned around.

He could not let Jake just lie there. He picked the snake up and said, "I will take you to the animal hospital. Maybe the doctors will know what to do." (page 13)

This is a story of a snake's unhappiness. One day a snake Jake came into a chicken coop to get some eggs. The chicken panicked at him. Jake found and ate 2 eggs. But he felt sick soon. Was the egg poisonous..?

Before he came, the farmer Henry was in difficulty because the chickens were not laying enough eggs. And he heard that the good way for laying eggs is putting FAKE eggs in the chicken's nest. So he put some old light bulbs in them nests.

That is why Jake got sick. He swallowed light bulbs, not eggs. Farmer Henry felt pity for Jake, and take him hospital. Jake was operated and got well, and came back to farmer Henry.

I don't like snakes because they are scarely. But this snake Jake was cute.
