Dear host family
Hello! I’m Misato. I live in Japan. I’m 19 years old and I’m a university student at KGU. I major in English. I’ve studied English for 7 years, but my English is not so good. I have to study more.
I’m going to tell you about my ordinary life. I live in Kikuchi, Kumamoto. Every weekday I go to the university by bus. But sometimes my close friend drives me there. It takes about an hour. The university is very far from my hometown. It makes me bored so I always listen to music in the bus. Yes I love music. I like J-pop, and foreign music that is famous in Japan. I love Avril Lavigne and Taylor Swift very much.
I like sports, too. I played badminton for 9 years. I’ve belonged to the club in the school (elementary school, junior high, and high school). I don’t play now, but I want to. If there are some club teams in your hometown, I want to try to join it. I just want to enjoy playing some sports with you.
And do you have some pets? Don’t worry about it. I like dogs, cats, and other animals. But I don’t like insects. So if you have some animals, I’m very happy. Actually I have a dog in my house, her name is Lily and she is very cute!
