Essay06 :Introduction of Kumamoto Gakuen

Now I am going to introduce about our university, Kumamoto Gakuen University. It is called KGU. We have 4 departments, and each department have a few courses. The department of commercial science has three courses, commercial science, business administration, and hospitality management. The department of economics has three courses, too, economics, international economics, legal economics. The department of foreign language has two courses, English, and East Asian. By the way my major is English. And, the department of social welfare, has four courses, social welfare, welfare and environmental, childcare, and life-wellness. We have various departments and courses so you can learn what you want to do.
KGU also has all kinds of facilities. A library, cafeteria, a students’ dining room, a convenience store LAWSON, a bookstore, and so on. Of course we have some sports ground and gymnasiums. These facilities make us comfortable, so we can enjoy campus life everyday.
My department, foreign languages has exchange students programs. All of students have opportunity to study abroad. We accept foreign students, too. They come from America, England, Canada, Australia, Thailand, China, and Korea. In this university, we can travel around the world!
There are many kind of club. Sports clubs, cultural activity clubs, research activity clubs, music clubs and others. Many students who is belonging a club are full of life. There are about 100 clubs in all.
Some events and festivals are held in a year. A sports festival, music festival, and a school festival. The biggest one is school festival! It is called Takuma-sai and has a lot of fun and it is large scale. If you are a KGU student, you should come to Takuma-sai and enjoy it. It will be good memory in your life.
The students can learn many kind things I think. That is why this university is popular in Kyushu!
