I have read this story before, in childhood.
There are a girl named Gerda, and a boy named Kay. This book has some scene I have never knew. At first they were living on happy life but one day Kay got tiny pieces of wicked devil's mirror. After that he got so mean and cruel. Gerda got really sad but she still loved him.
One day Kay had gone somewhere suddenly. Gerda went out to find him. She met many people on the way. Some of them confused her, and some helped her. Finally Gerda could see Kay at the snow queen's castle. Kay had to solve a puzzle and spell something. The answer was "ETERNITY". So Kay got to be free eternity.
