My favorite dish is “Omrice”, it is fried rice covered omelet. This is so easy to cook, and I have made for my hostmother when I was staying Minnesota. She said it is good. I explained to her, “This dish is not traditional, but popular in Japan.” The fried rice is seasoned tomato ketchup and tonkatsu sauce (or consommé. This is good seasoning.). And put bacon, mix vegetables and onion put in the rice, season and fry. After that make omelet and put it on the fried rice.
And my favorite Omrice restaurant is “Pomme no ki” (means tree of apple). It is at Tsuruya, I often go there. They have various kinds of Omrice and others. At the last time I had an Omrice with beef stew, was really good.
