BR04: The Little Mermaid

"But how will I talk to my prince?" She asked.
"That's not my problem." (page 37)


This is a story of a beautiful, pure mermaid. The little mermaid was also the youngest sister of 6 sisters. She just wanted to get close to the prince but it was never easy. I think this story makes any girls sad.

The king of the sea, the father of the sisters said to them, "Do not go up to the surface until you become fifteen." After that, the oldest mermaid had become fifteen and she went up to the surface and came back. She brought some story about the out of the sea to other sisters. Everybody was so excited to hear her story. They become fifteen one after another. The little mermaid was waiting her turn for a long time.
One day, the day of the little mermaid's fifteens birthday, she went up to the surface. Then she saw a gorgeous bright ship, and she found a beautiful prince on the deck. But the ship was overturned by bad storm. The little mermaid found him, clinging to a wood. She took him to the shore. Then a princess appeared and they walked away together. The prince didn't know that a mermaid saved him actually.
She wanted human legs, to get closer to him. She asked sea witch, but the ugly witch said to give her the little mermaid's voice, instead. And the witch also told, "If you had this potion, you can never be back to your father's castle." But the little mermaid did.
The little mermaid could see the prince finally, but he told her to get married to the princess who the little mermaid saw. She could not say anything because she didn't have voice. She did just nodding silently. He was everything that she wanted but he wanted someone else. The little mermaid disappeared into the sea with tears.
This is a story of the most beautiful, innocent girl in whole world. I think.
